Neuropsychiatry Department
Comprehensive care for neurological and psychiatric conditions with compassion and expertise.
Mental health and neurological conditions are often overlooked in Afghanistan due to social stigma, lack of awareness, and limited access to specialized care. Yet, conditions such as depression, anxiety, epilepsy, dementia, schizophrenia, and neurological disorders are increasingly affecting individuals and families, often going untreated or misdiagnosed.
At Behzad Medical Complex, our Neuropsychiatry Department bridges this critical gap by combining neurology and psychiatry expertise under one roof. This integrated approach ensures that patients with overlapping brain and mental health conditions receive accurate diagnosis and comprehensive treatment.
Our department is equipped with modern diagnostic tools, advanced imaging technologies, and evidence-based therapies to provide compassionate, effective care. Whether it’s managing chronic neurological illnesses, offering psychotherapy, or providing emergency psychiatric interventions, BMC is committed to raising the standard of neuropsychiatric care in Afghanistan and breaking the stigma around mental health.
